Audition in Paro was held on 19th and 20th of April, 2008 at Gaadhen Cinema Hall. There were 26 conestants who showed up for the preliminary round of which 18 made it to the First Round. Only 10 were selected for the Second Round to be held in Thimphu where they will contest with the other winners of the First Round from other Dozngkhags. Dzongkhag: Paro The much awaited 'Bhutanese Idol" was launched on the 15th of April, 2008 at Jikss Trokhang. 93 contested for the Preliminary Audition out of which 33 made it to the First Round.
